I would if it is a weekend and activities are planned.
Not enough staff maybe?
This place has seriously gone down hill. Soggy, stale nachos. Bland flavors on mass produced food. Not going to return!
The bathroom looks deplorable, dirty and toilet tissue all over the floor, food was poorly made and the ticket was too high for a burger and fish and chip. Unfortunately my experience was not as great
Had an excellent gluten free meal. They have gluten free buns, so their burgers are edible. The only downside , the chili isn't gluten free, even though it's marked it is. I had a burger with sauteed mushrooms and onions, delicious! My friend had their nachos with guacamole instead is chili. The crowning piece though was a crustless cheesecake with raspberry sauce - all gluten free!! Delectable!!
Hart's burgers are great and great for cocktails. The rest is starting to go down. I've been going there for years and some menu items weren't the same. The Nachos were cheaply done. Not the same as before.Round chips on a plate with toppings? Really? They used to be baked to be crispy with triangular chips. The chilli was great though.
For God's sake don't go to this place they hired a new chef that doesn't know what hes doing. They changed their menu.. They mixed blue cheese with Caesar dressing And the waitress insisted it was Caesar dressing,I guess she's used to eating garbage.Manager came out and admitted they mix it because there hurting with the new garbage menu. They were gonna charge me for the salad.. bye bye.. PS it's like eating out of a toilet!
Disappointed to say the least. This type of place, due to its location in Peddlers Village, is busy but not because of the spectacular food and drink. The wait was not long and the waitress was sweet and mostly attentive but the food left something to be desired. The french onion was overly salty and the cheese was just barely melted on top. The fried pickles were decent, the usual frozen and fried pickle chips one would get at a multitude of similar restaurants. The fish and chips were extremely oily and overcooked to the point where the fish was no longer flaky, just firm and flavorless. The burger was overcooked but tasted OK and the kids grilled cheese looked rather sad. Bread was not very toasted and the cheese looked suspect. Overall a below average experience at best, not to mention that the food took a long time to come out of the kitchen. If you have the option of trying another eatery you probably should.
The crab cake sandwich was very tasty. We have very good service also.
If you want a satisfying sandwich that taste so rich & delicate, definitely try the Crab Cake Sandwich. The brioche bun combined with the crab cake, gives the sandwich a buttery, soft and delightly taste. Don't forget to be general with the remoulade sauce.
Clock and Bull/Hart's very good food, quick seating and excellent service
Oh yes...I was there. Bartender gave us our drinks and took our order and proceeded to ignore us while another couple sat and ordered. About 15 minutes later, 2 empty drinks, our bar neighbors got their food. A second bartender delivered it. Then came over and asked if we wanted another drink. When delivered, he checked our ticket and said oh you're waiting on quesadillas. He ducked back in the kitchen and came back out and said the ticket printer ran out if paper and it would be a couple minutes...more like 10. When it came out finally, he asked if we wanted share plates...I said no, I'd rather have the chili I ordered! He looked at the ticket again and said, oh this will take just a minute. And it did, but without the nachos stated on the menu...I was done at that point! Keep in mind, all this happened while bartender #1 just stood behind the bar, watching. I wont go back
We visited Harts located in the heart of Peddlers Village for dinner. The place is quite cozy and is reminiscent of a pub. The food is good. Menu options offer a decent variety from salads, starters, and entrees to drinks and wine. We enjoyed our salad, burgers, and appetizers. The staff were very friendly. At our table we felt a bit chilly due to the air vent located right above our table. Our server was kind enough to turn it down low at our request.
I go to Hart's often, my wife and I had our first date here years ago. The food is pub grub with a good selection of beer and spirits. Whether you sit at the bar or at a table the atmosphere is pretty cool. Overall, the good is good. I've only had one thing I didn't care for, the brisket sandwich. It was a little greasy and flavorless BUT there are plenty of other meals that are great. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area.
Food and atmosphere would get 4 stars, but the staff is friendly. When we ordered a wrap to split at the bar, the waitress was so kind to have the cook put our food on separate plates.
Good food, great service. "Real Bar" feel.
Great food try the brownie and ice cream for dessert
Cute pub. Simple menu, great quality food. Upbeat yet classy atmosphere.
Service and waiter great food blah fish and chips greasy and only warm ff redipped.... hamburger not good. Soup great they did take 25 dollars off bill ill try one more time
Went to Hart's for the first time for lunch today. I'm pretty snobby about Google reviews, so I wasn't expecting much, but was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good. Service was quick, and our server was attentive, though mumbled through the specials so I wasn't 100% sure if what I heard and ordered was what I'd get (it was!). Nothing blew me away, but it was a nice lunchtime experience, and I'd come back.
Great food, friendly staff, beautiful location. Our group, instead of getting entrees, ended up buying every appetizer to share, and they were all very good. We came in late on Presidents' Day, when there was nearly no one in Peddler's Village, and although they said they were understaffed, our food came out quickly and most of it (besides the boneless wings) was fresh and delicious. Also, I left my wallet there, and the staff mailed it back to me promptly. Great experience overall!
I used to love Hart's. We would drive an hour and a half just for the burgers and fantastic fries. It saddens me deeply to say that those days are gone. We will no longer be dining at Hart's. The burgers are now thin and dry and flavorless. The menu is super limited and favorites have been removed. The manager we had Saturday night was excellent. He comped one of our items and gave us a nice discount on the bill but it isn't enough to save our opinion of this place.
Cozy pub in Peddlers Village great for nerti,g friends to grab drinks and a good meal. Nice atmosphere especially sitting next to the fireplace. The menu had a lot of selections and all that we tried were delicious. Give it a try, I think you'll enjoy it.
Food was good. Every one ordered something different and we all enjoyed our meals. Nice selection of bottled and draft beer as well as wines and cocktails. Service was excellent! We found it to be very noisy in the area where we were seated.
Waitress says Cabbage soup? Soup was beef barley. 25 mins for drink order of beer ? 1 margarita. Mgr.was.very good. For bartender moving real quick
Great food! Excellent service! Salmon and shrimp burger was great! As was the brisket sandwich!
Nice quiet place, good atmosphere, staff was nice
Just felt cramped and I went there to sit down and relax but couldn't. My Reuben sandwich was tasty but they could keep the fries. The waiter was very good.
GREAT place to eat. Staff is very friendly, food is delicious, clean dinning room, decent prices. The only thing I would change is they need more options on the menu.
The wait staff is super friendly and the decor is down the street family run pub. The staff was very quick to make sure a person with allergies at our table had the right options. The food was really good.
Nice bar in Peddlers Village. Frank is awesome behind the bar.
Me and my family literally just went it and was seated immediately but then sat there for 20 mins without even having a waiter come over and greet us or getting our drink orders. Mind you the place was dead no one was in there except for the bar and 3 employees were just standing in the back talking no even paying us any mind. Very disappointed. Only good thing was the manager came over to the other restaurant next store to apologize and give us a discount off our bill for the inconvience which we appreciated.
Good food. Real potato cut French fries. Nicely priced.
Their French onion soup is to die for. The service was great.
It's ok... Good place to grab a reasonably priced drink. I got the cheesesteak eggrolls which were literally dripping grease. Yuck!
Great service and friendly staff. Excellent appetizers. The buffalo chicken cheesesteak egg rolls are a must get. The Steakhouse Burger was decent. Could have been more flavorful. Good beer selection. An overall good experience. Would go back again.
Excellent food and friendly quality service. Lovely atmosphere.
Great wait staff. Knew what I wanted before I did! Love it there
Everyone is super friendly. Tasha was an amazing waitress and made sure we got everything we asked for. She even laughed with us about a tea bag exploding and gladly replaced it with another. The food is excellent and great portions for sharing with 2 or 3 people.
So disappointed.. My wife and I have been going to Hart's for the last fifteen years. It's been a favorite of ours for years but no more. Our last dinner was the our last. They removed Harts classics such as their classic cheese steak, fish and chips and the final straw, the removal of the roast beef dip. Service is not what it used to be and the overall dining experience has gone down. It's difficult for me to write this review.. very disappointed.
Great old style tavern with table service and booths. Enjoy good food and shopping to follow.
Favorite place to stop. French onion soup is fabulous.
Always Delicious.. Awesome atmosphere A+
We loved our waiter and the food was great! Perfect place to sit down after a day walking around.
Harts tavern, The name is very apropos everyone there did an amazing job
Food was great..Drinks were wonderful...service was so so..had to wait for a server she was very pleasant when she got there. After bringing me my order I never saw her again till she hand ed me my check
Food was terrible! May have been the ones that stole my debit card info.
Great food. Big salads! Great french onion soup. Prices reasonable.
Only two people I was with got burgers. Only two people got food poisoning. We almost didn't make it home before they got sick. I wish I could give this place a zero. Completely horrified and disappointed to say the least.
Poor service and terrible food! We waited forever for our mild wings only to receive hot wings instead, we ordered the barbecue brisket sandwiches which were gross, they were loaded with fat and gristle, we did not eat them. We ordered two sodas one arrived 3/4th full . The waitress smiled a lot but was clueless. This place used to be good! We wont be back!
This rating is based on the food only. I ordered a well done burger and received one not even close to being cooked. I normally avoid places like this again. The server and manager however were absolutely friendly. Both before and after my comment about the burger. I would give those two 5 stars if I could.
I was here a few years ago. I will be back here in a few years. I absolutely love Hart's Tavern. The food and service have always been outstanding. The restaurant also has some fun decorating around. Go here you will be happy! PS: I also got to watch part of a game.
